This English translation is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
Purpose
These general terms of use (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the website latelierhoche.fr and of the “private salon” client area, published by CYR (acronym: L'Atelier Hoche), a single-member limited liability company, RCS Paris 753 840 875, 14 bis avenue Hoche, 75008 Paris, which runs the house L'Atelier Hoche by CYR (hereinafter “the house”).
Browsing the website or using the client area implies acceptance of these Terms.
Access to the website
The website is accessible at no cost, at any time, to anyone with Internet access. Connection and equipment costs remain the responsibility of the user.
The house endeavours to ensure continuous access to the website but may interrupt it, in particular for maintenance or updates, without incurring any liability.
Private salon
Account creation
The “private salon” client area is reserved for clients of the house. An account is opened by invitation or following an appointment.
Login credentials
Your login credentials are personal and confidential. You are responsible for keeping them safe and for any use made of them. In the event of loss or unauthorised use, notify us without delay at [email protected].
Accuracy of information
You undertake to provide accurate and up-to-date information. The measurements taken at the salon are the reference; if you change measurements yourself in your client area, the house cannot be held responsible for any resulting discrepancy in size.
Configurator and renderings
The configurator and the avatars allow you to visualise a garment and to compose its options. Renderings are indicative only: the actual colour, texture and drape of a cloth are to be judged at the salon, on a sample and during fittings. Differences between an on-screen rendering and the finished garment cannot form the basis of a claim.
Suspension
The house may suspend or close an account in the event of use contrary to these Terms, after informing you, except in an emergency.
Booking appointments
Appointments can be booked through the website's form, by telephone, by email or via WhatsApp, at the atelier or by video call. An appointment is only final once confirmed by the house.
If you are unable to attend, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Prices
Prices shown on the website are expressed in euros, inclusive of all taxes. They are presented as “from” prices and are given for information only: the price of a garment depends on the cloth, the cut and the options chosen.
Only the quotation signed at the salon is binding.
Orders and sales
Orders cannot be placed online through the website. The terms of each order (price, timing, fittings) are set out for you at the salon, before any order is placed.
Intellectual property
The content of the website and of the client area (texts, photographs, visuals, configurator, avatars) is protected. Its use is limited to personal and private use. The detailed conditions are set out in the legal notice.
Personal data
The processing of your data is described in the privacy policy.
External links
The website may contain links to third-party websites (social networks, messaging services, cloth houses). The house has no control over these websites and is not responsible for their content or their data practices.
Liability
The house takes care to ensure the accuracy of the information published but cannot guarantee the absence of errors or omissions. It cannot be held liable for:
- any interruption or malfunction of the website;
- any damage related to the user's equipment or to the use of the Internet;
- any use of the website that does not comply with these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you derive from the mandatory provisions of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation).
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law.
In the event of a difficulty, we invite you first to write to us at [email protected] so that an amicable solution can be sought.
Consumer mediation
In accordance with Articles L. 611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, if you are a consumer and a dispute could not be resolved through a prior written complaint to the house, you may refer it, at no cost and within one year of that complaint, to the consumer mediator the house has appointed: CM2C (Centre de la médiation de la consommation de conciliateurs de justice), 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France. A dispute may be submitted online at www.cm2c.net, by email to [email protected] or by post to that address. Mediation is conducted in French.
Jurisdiction
Failing an amicable resolution, disputes fall within the jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, subject to the mandatory rules that allow consumers to bring proceedings before the court of their place of residence.
Changes to these Terms
The house may amend these Terms at any time. The applicable version is the one online at the time you use the website; the date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
