Trousers, to your measure.
Bespoke trousers for men, avenue Hoche, Paris 8th.
Trousers are the foundation of all elegance: they trace the line of a silhouette, from hip to shoe. I draw them on a pattern in your name, pleated or flat-fronted, in flannel, fresco wool or cashmere; and they change the way you stand, the way you walk, the way you are seen.

Why do bespoke trousers hang better?
Because they begin with your rise, the distance from waist to crotch that governs the whole drape. I take it along with the seat, the thigh, the knee and the curve of the small of your back, then I create a pattern in your name. Your trousers hang straight, standing or seated; they move with your stride and keep their crease from morning to night.

Which bespoke trousers should you choose?
Five models cover the essentials, from the boardroom to the weekend. What sets them apart comes down to three proportions: the height of the waist, the fullness through the thigh, the width at the hem.
-
Suit trousers
Cut from the jacket's cloth, they share its proportions: closer to the body in a modern cut, fuller and pleated in a classic one.
-
Pleated trousers, high-waisted
They lengthen the leg, keep the shirt tucked in and are worn with or without a jacket. Side adjusters, a high waistband: the elegance of the thirties, redrawn for today.
-
Flannels
Grey, charcoal or brown, they are the quintessential winter trousers, beneath a blazer or a tweed jacket. The flannels of Vitale Barberis Canonico are the benchmark.
-
Linen and cotton trousers
Linen for summer, gabardine or cotton for town at the weekend: the same measurements, a more relaxed air.
-
Tuxedo trousers
A silk braid along the side seam, a waistband without belt loops: they go with the bespoke tuxedo and the velvet jacket.

Pleats or no pleats?
Pleats give ease at the hips and the seat; without them, the line is cleaner. One or two pleats suit high waists and men who are always on the move; a flat front suits slender figures and light cloths. Well placed, the pleat runs into the crease of the trousers: it lengthens the leg instead of widening it. We compare both versions on your avatar, then at the fitting, seated and standing.
04 · Trousers
Which cloth for bespoke trousers?
For the working week, a fresco wool or a light serge: they breathe, crease little and see out the longest days. In winter, a flannel brings drape and warmth; cashmere, from Loro Piana or Piacenza, a rare softness. Ermenegildo Zegna, Holland & Sherry and Dormeuil complete our swatch books. Thirteen thousand cloths in all: explore the cloths and their four ranges.

Standing, seated, walking: how are your trousers fitted?
Three to six weeks separate the first conversation, at the atelier or by video call, from delivery. After an hour of measuring on avenue Hoche, each of the two or three fittings is checked in three positions.
- Standingthe crease falls straight, the waistband holds without pinching, the break rests on the shoe.
- Seatedthe seat follows the movement, the waist stays in place, the hem covers the ankle.
- Walkingthe thigh has room, the crease follows the knee; the final fitting takes place at the atelier, pin in hand.
Your trousers find their bespoke jacket, or take their place in your wardrobe.
Frequently asked questions
What we are asked
How much do bespoke trousers cost in Paris?
Bespoke trousers start at €450, cloth included, in the Découverte collection. From there, the price follows the share of handwork and the cloth, according to the pyramid of our collections: a house wool is not priced like a cashmere or a flannel from a great cloth house. The final price is set with you, at the atelier, cloth in hand.
Can I order bespoke trousers on their own?
Yes, trousers can be ordered on their own, without a matching jacket. A pair in grey flannel or fresco wool goes with several jackets in the wardrobe, and it is often the missing piece. They are cut from the same pattern as your suits: once it exists, each new pair starts from your current measurements.
How is the length of the trousers decided?
The length is decided according to the shoes you will wear. Together we choose the break — clean, slight or none — then the hem: plain or with turn-ups. It is checked at the fitting, standing and then walking, before finishing, so that the trousers graze the shoe without collapsing onto it.
